Orlando International Airport (IATA & FAA: MCO, ICAO: KMCO) is located 10km southeast of Orlando in Orange County, Florida. Air Tran Airways uses it as a secondary hub while JetBlue Airways and Southwest Airlines use it as a focus city. Southwest Airlines carry the maximum number of passengers to and from the airport.
The airport has four runways and one large passenger terminal that is divided into terminal A and terminal B. There are also four Airside terminals that are connected to the main terminal by elevated tram. Having handled more than 36 million passengers in 2007, it ranks 10th in passenger traffic in the U. S., and 20th in the world.
Since the landing of the first Airbus A380 in 2007, Orlando was included among the first airports equipped to accommodate the Airbus 380, the largest airliner in the world. Taxis and major car hire companies are available on the A and B side of the terminal.
