Located 13km north of Zurich, Switzerland, the Zurich Airport (IATA: ZRH, ICAO: LSZH) is also known as Kloten Airport as it is situated on the Kloten, a municipality on the canton of Zurich. The Swiss International Air Lines uses this airport as its hub. It handles 20 million passengers annually and is the largest international airline hub and gateway for Switzerland. Zurich airport has two terminals, which include a new one that was built in 2003. Both terminals are connected by an underground automated train. Trains leave the underground airport railway station and take you to the main Zurich railway station, from where you can travel to any place in Switzerland.
You will find taxis in front of arrivals at both terminals. They take 15 minutes to reach the centre of Zurich city. There are 11 bus lines that frequently travel to and from the center of Zurich. Road route A20 can take you to St. Gallen, Bern and Basel.
